Common Name The Tiny Chambered Capanemia
Flower Size 1/4" [5 mm]
Found in Venezuela, Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil in shaded forests along the edge of arroyos as a miniature sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte with minute, obovoid pseudobulbs with 2 leaf bracts and 2 apical, subterete, very small, fleshy, narrowly linear, sulcate above, very acute, gray green leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on an ascending, 1 to 2 flowered, simple or branched, .6" [1.5 cm] long inflorescence.
CAUTION Some sources put this species and C adelaidae as synomonous, with this species taking precedence but if I have the correct photos for these two species then they are quite different. I await better references!
