Common Name Lucien's Cattleya [Lucien Linden Beligian collector and nurseryman 1800's]

Found in southeastern Brazil as a natural hybrid between C. harrisoniana x C. tigrina with subclavate, laterally compressed pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, narrowly elliptic to obovate leaves that blooms in the late summer on a terminal, subtended by a green sheath, short to 4" [to 10 cm], few to several [2 to 6] flowered inflorescence .
