Found in the Philippines on tree trunks at elevations around 20 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with close set to well spaced, 4 angled, yellow pseudobulbs carrying oblong-elliptic, leathery, very slightly unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a basal, .6" [1.5 cm] long, slender inflorescence with a few tubular sheathing bracts and carrying several flowers held in an umbel at the apex
