Common Name or Meaning Schlechter's Cranichis [German Orchid Botanist 1900's]

Found in Huila department of Colombia at elevations of 1200 to 1300 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with a single, basal, ovate, acute, subcordate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, peduncle 32.8" [37 cm] long, delicate, glabrous in the lower half, otherwise glandular, provided with 5 sheathing bracts, rachis to 1.2" [3 cm] long, conical, subdensely many flowered inflorecence with lanceolate, acuminate, , half as long as the ovaryy floral racts and carrying small, inconspicuous flowers.
