Common Name The Pale Yellow Elleanthus

Found in Antioquia department of Colombia and Piura deaprtment of Peru in grassy areas at elevations of 1500 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with erect, rigid, simple stems carrying lanceolate, acuminate, tridentate apically leaves that blooms in the winter on a to 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, ovate to oblong, sebsessile, subdensely several flowered inflorescence with acuminate, rigid, twice as long as the ovary floral bracts.
