Common Name The Lax Leaved Epidendrum

Found in Cauca department of Colombia at elevations around 1000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with simple, strict, cane-like stem carrying a few, sub-patent to erect-patent, coriaceous, ligulate-oblong, obtuse leaves that blooms on a terminal, peduncle, erect, to 12" [30 cm] long, rachis to 3.2" [8 cm] long, subdensely many flowered inflorescence with erect-patent, shorter to equal to the ovary, narrowly lanceolate, acute floral bracts.
