Found in Venezuela as a hot to warm growing terrestrial with cane like, erect stems carrying oblong, basally clasping leaves that blooms on a a terminal, erect, without a spathe, peduncle 8" [20 cm] long, rachis 2" [5 cm] long, provided with 5 bracts, successively few, several flowered inflorescence carrying variously colored flowers, all held in one plane, but the lip facing inwards, with narrower petals and midlobe of the lip than E mimopsis
