Found in French Guiana in rainforests as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a bsally cylindrical, strongly laterally compressed above stems carrying 3 to 4, on the apical half, subcoriaceous, fleshy, clear green, ligulate-linear to oblong-elliptic, obtuse, apically bilobed leaves that blooms in the fall and earlier winter on a terminal, sessile, simultaneously 2 flowered inflorescence with subtransluscent, triangular, obtuse, the second one smaller floral bracts and carrying resupinate, glabrous, clear green flowers without a detectable fragrance.
