Common Name The Very Similar Epidendrum

Found in the department of Cauca Colombia without locational data, as a large sized terrestrial?, epiphyte? with simple, terete, cane-like stems carrying several, erect-patent, ligulate, obtuse, coriaceous leaves that blooms on a terminal, long-pedunculate, to 6" [15 cm] long, with 6 bracts, rachis to 3.2" [8 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with patent, lanceolate, acuminate, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying glabrous flowers.
