Common Name or Meaning The Overlooked Epidendrum

Flower Size .8" [1 cm]

Found in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador [Bolivia?] at elevations of 1650 to 3300 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with branching, ascending to pendent branches, straight to slightly fractiflex stems carrying in the upper 1/3 of the stem, distichous, erect-patent, coriaceous, oblong to ovate-lanceolate, acute to shortly acuminate, slightly attenuate towards the base leaves that blooms in the late spring on a terminal, 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long, racemose, subcorymbose, 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence arising through a conduplicate, acute to shortly acuminate spathe and with ovate, acuminate floral bracts.

CAUTION I am not sure of this determination so please use with caution!!!! The Postage stamp photo appears to be correct!
