Found in Antioquia department of Colombia at elevations around 1000 meters as a large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte? with rigid, cane-like, terete stems carrying many, erect-spreading, oblong, obtuse, thickly coriaceous, shiny leaves that blooms on a terminal, few branched, long pedunculate, rachis densely many flowered inflorescence with erect-spreading, linear, acuminate, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying greenish yellow flowers
