Common Name The Roraima Habenaria [A mountain in Venezuela and Guyana]

Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]

Found in Venezuela and Guyana in boggy to drier soils at elevations around 2300 to 2600 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a pilose corm giving rise to an erect glabrous stem carrying small cauline, glabrous, lanceolate, acute, totally or semi adpressed to the stem leaves that decrease in size above into the bracts that blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, terminal, 1.6 to 9.2" [4 to 23 cm] long, laxly few to several flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts .
