Common Name Williams' Habenaria

Flower Size

Found in the Yungas mountains of Bolivia at elevations around 1800 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect, strict to substrict, terete, glabrous stem carrying 4 to 5, erect patent, elliptic, aristate-apiculate, amplectant basally, glabrous leaves that grade to bracts above that blooms in the summer on an erect, 1.2" [3 cm] long, terminal, cylindrical, subdense, many flwoered inflorescence with erect-patent, lanceolate, acuminate, equal to below and shorter than the ovary above floral bracts.
