Common Name The Cheirostylus-Like Hapalorchis
Flower Size
Found in Valle de Cauca department of Colombia and Venezuela at elevations around 1900 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing terrestrial with fleshy-bulbous, villous, fasciculate roots giving rise to an erect stem carrying 3 to 5 basal, spreading, glabrous, ovate, acuminate, subcordate below into the base leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, to 1.6" [4 cm] long, secund, laxly 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence with elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate, slightly longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying resupinate flowers
