Common Name The Reddish Hylophila

Flower Size .24" [6 mm]

Found in the Philippines at elevations up to 1450 meters as a small sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect to 12" [30 cm] long stem carrying 3 to 6, lanceolate, acute, gradually narrowing into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, to 10 flowered inflorescence.

Similar to H lanceolata which has white flowers with a tooth on each side of the mouth of the saccate lip. Also similar to H mollis but it has a very different habit and an elongate, spicate racemose inflorescence.
