Common Name or Meaning The Crescent Shaped Lepanthes

Found in Cochabamba department of Bolivia at elevations around 2500 to 2900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 8 to 11, ciliate, lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, ovate, acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on 1 to 2, slender, loose, slightly flexuous, .92" [2.3 cm] long, including the .2" [5 mm] long peduncle, successively single, few flowered inflorescence arising on the back side of the leaf.
