Common Name The Deviating Oncidium
Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]
Found in Parana' State, Brazil in the coastal Atlantic mountains around 500 to 1000 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with clustered, ovate, laterally compressed pseudobulbs partially enveloped basally by acute, leaflike sheaths and carrying a single, apical, strap-shaped, spreading, fleshy and bluntly pointed apically leaf and blooms on a slender, erect, 4.3" [11 cm] long, few to several flowered inflorescence.
CAUTION! Often cited as a synonym of O edwallii but pending better references I have left them separate.
