Common Name The Small Pelexia

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]

Found in Minas Gerais state of Brazil as a large sized, terrestrial with a few large, radical, rosulate, erect-patent, lanceoalte, acute, long cuneate below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, leafless at blooming, peduncle 15.2 to 16" [38 to 45 cm] long, provided with a few, glabrous below, very briefly and sparsely hairy above sheathing bracts, rachis 4.8 to 6" [12 to 15 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence with erect, thinly membraneous, narrowly linear-lanceolate, long acuminategllabrous, much shorter than the flowewr floral bracts

Similar to Pelexia novofriburgensis with the short hairs and presence of long-stalked leaves at the time of flowering. The lip should be linear-spathulate with a short spatula on the anterior lobe.
