Common Name Tsi's Phalaenopsis [Chinese Botanist current]

Flower Size 1.32" [3.3 cm]

Found in Hunan China on tree trunks in forests at elevations of 1200 to 1850 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a pedunculate, 2.4 to 3.8" [6 to 9.5 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence.

"Similar to P subparishii but P tsii has a smaller flower, a proportionally much more developed and the colors of the segments of the lip are differnt. There are less visble margins of the lateral lobes spur which on P subparishii are rather oval with full margins." W Higgins 2019
