Common Name or Meaning Werner's Pleurothallis [German collector of the type current]

Found in the Zamora-Chinchipe province of Ecuador at elevations around 2100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with erct ramicauls enveloped by 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on a loose, flexuous, flexible, peduncle filiform, .4" [1 cm] long, successively single, several flowered inflorescence with shorter than the pedicel floral bracts and carrying transluscent purple to pale yellow flowers.
