Common Name Feuillet's Pleurothallis [French Orchid Enthusiast and Collector of species]

Found in French Guiana without locational and elevational data as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with slender, erect, ramicauls enveloped by 1 to 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, purple suffused, elliptical-ovate, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a lax, distichous, more or less flexuous, 1.4 to 1.6" [3.5 to 4 cm] long including the slender peduncle, simultaneously few flowered inflorescence with an oblique, acute, half as long as the pedicel floral bract.

Part of the Pleurothallis grobyi-picta alliance. Similar to P grobyi but differs in being a much smaller plant, a loose, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence less than 1.2" [3 cm] long, and sepals that are thickened at the slightly acuminate, sharply acute apices
