Found in Para state of Brazil in forests at elevations around 160 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing, cespitose epiphyte with a thin, erect, terete, longitudinally grooved ramicaul carrying a single, elliptic-lanceolate, coriaceous leaf that blooms in the summer on a racemose, much shorter thant he leaf, arising through a spathe, successively 1, to 3 flowered inflorescence carrying campanulate flowers.
Similar to Pleurothallis fockei but differs in ramicaul and lip morphology.
