Found in San Luis Potosi state of Mexico in forests without elevational data as a small sized terrestrial with leaves not seen, that blooms in the later summer on a delicate, erect, just above the base densely glandular, 8.4 to 11.2", [21 to 28 cm] long, scape, rachis 2 to 2.8" [5 to 7 cm] long, rather dense, 8 to 12 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, thin, delicate, herbaceous with hyaline, semi-transparent margins, sparsely glandular outside in the lower half, much longer than the olvary floral bracts and carrying medium sized, tubular, flowers with reflexed lateral sepals.
