Found in Cusco department of Peru at elevations of 2200 to 2500 meters as a small sized, cold growing terrestrial with 3 to 8, in a basal rosette, horizontal, elliptic, acumoinate, marrgins entire, basally symetrical and broadly cuneate below into the 1.6 to 3.2" [4 to 8 cm] long, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the earlier summer on an erect, terminal, peduncle, green, 3.2 to 4" [8 to 10 cm] long, provided wioth a basal, ovate,a cuminate, glabrous sheathing bract and with 3 more above, just below the flowers, rachis .08 to 2.8" [2 to 7 cm] long, 6 to 30 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, glabrous, 3 veined, longer than the ovary floral bracts and carrying non-resupinate flwoers with greenish sepals, white petals and a reenish lip with white calli..

labellum (vs. triangular to sagittate) with rounded base
(vs. sagittate), glabrous margins (vs. densely ciliate)
and slender oblong calli (vs. broadly ovate).
