Found in Jamaica in open rocky woods at elevations around 150 to 1700 meters as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte or lithophyte with clustered, globose, wrinkled pseudobulbs carrying a single apical, ovate-lanceolate, dark green, leathery leaf that blooms in the winter through summer on a basal, 3.6" [9 cm] long, arching to pendant, racemose, 3 to 10 flowered inflorescence carrying membraneosu flowers.
