Common Name or Meaning Kegel's Bulbophyllum [Orchid Gardener In Halle Germany 1800's]

Found in Trinidad, Surinam and and northern Brazil at low elevations as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with 1 to 1.6" [2.5 to 4 cm] between each, pyriform-ovoid pseudobulb and carrying 2, apical, ligulate-lanceolate, subobtuse, coriaceous leaves that blooms in the later summer on a basal, erect, terete, not thickened, peduncle to 3.6 to 4.8" [9 to 12 cm] long, rachis 6 to 13.2" [15 to 33 cm] long, 80 to 120 flowered, racemose inflorescence with verruculose longer than the pedicellate ovary floral bracts.
