Common Name The Warty Bulbophyllum [refers to the wart-like protuberances on the labellum]

Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm wide]

Found in the Philippines as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte at elevations up to 500 meters with ovoid to subglobse pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, oblong, obtuse apically, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a basal, 5.8" [14.5 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence.

This species and the following are all related within the so called B nymphopolitanum complex and are similar in appearance, B nymphopolitanum, B recurvilabre, B trigonosepalum, B levanae and B mearnsii . and B basisetum .
