Common Name The Recurved Lip Bulbophyllum

Flower Size 3 x 1" [7.5 cm tall by 2.5 cm wide]

Found in the Philippines at elevations of sea level to 500 meters as a small sized, hot to just warm growing epiphyte with close set pseudobulbs carrying a single, quite leathery, petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, basal, to 7.2" [to 18 cm] long, successively single, several flowered inflorescence carrying malodorous flowers.

This species and the following are all related within the so called B nymphopolitanum complex and are similar in appearance, B mearnsii, B papulosum, B levanae, B nymphopolitanum , B trigonosepalum and B basisetum
