Common Name Corinne's Masdevallia [Corinne Willock American current]

Flower Size .88" [to about 2.2 cm]

Found in Guatemala in wet forests at elevations around 400 meters as a mini- miniature sized, hot growing epiphytewith an erect ramicaul enveloped basally by 2 to 3 close, thin tubular sheaths, carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, obovate, tridentate apically leaves that blooms in the fall on a slender, decumbent to erect, 3 to 5" [7.5 to 13 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.

Similar to M floribunda but differs in the laterally orbicular sepals and the oblong-pandurate lip of the flower which is differntly colored.
