Found in La Paz Bolivia in cloud forests at elevations around 2000 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls with a tubular sheath near the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, erect, elliptical, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early summer on a loose, secund, 6 to 9.6" [15 to 23 cm] long, simultaneously several to many flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe with an annulus.
