Common Name Dalesandro's Pleurothallis [American Discoverer of species current]

Flower Size .32" [3 mm]

Found in southern Ecuador at elevations around 2000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped by 3, loose, imbricating, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter and again in early summer on a subcongested, suberect, to .4" [1 cm] long including the .12" [3 mm] long peduncle, successively single, few flowered inflorescence arising from a node at the apex of the ramicaul.

Similar species include P sanchezii, P rabei, P jamaicensis, P burzlaffiana and P lewisii
