Found without locational data as a mini-miniature sized, caespitose epiphyte? with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 3 spotted, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, dark green and lightly speckled with purple above, deep purple beneath, from coalescing spots, rigid, thickly coriaceous, thicker centrally with the margins thinner, broadly ovate to suborbicular, broadly obtuse, rounded and abruptly contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, arising from a node below the abscission layer, peduncle, 1.2" [3 cm] long, rachis 1.2 to .16" [3 to 4 cm] long, loose, simultaneously few to several flowered inflorescence with oblique, spotted with purple, shorter than the pedicel floral bracts.
"Superficially similar to P seriata but characterized by a caespitose habit, loose, spotted sheaths of the ramicauls, ramicauls about as long as the leaf, suborbicular, rigid, lens shaped leaf that are spotted on the dorsum and dark purple beneath and a loose, several flowered raceme. The dorsal sepal and the synsepal are obovate, the petals are truncate and the lip has a thick, dark purple, rounded apex." Luer 2003
