Found in Choco' department of Colombia at unknown elevations and locations as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a branching rhizome givng rise every .4 to 4/5" [1 to 2.2 cm] a stout ramicaul enveloped by 2 oblique, compressed, imbricating sheaths and carrying a single pendant, coriaceous, elliptical, acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a single flowered inflorescence arising from an oblique spathe
