Common Name Dusen's Habenaria [Swedish Engineer and Plant Collector in Brazil early 1900's]

Found in Venezuela, French Guiana, Surinam?, Matto Grosso, Goias, Parana', Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo states of Brazil in open grasslands and shrublands at elevations of 50 to 600 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with a slender, erect stem carrying 4 to 5, distichous, linear, acute, basally adpressed leaves that blooms in the later spring and summer on an erect, terminal, 3.2" [8 cm] long, laxly 1 to 7 flowered inflorescence with lanceolate-ovate, acuminate, much shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying greenish-yellow flowers.
