Found in Minas Gerais and Rio de Janiero states of Brazil as a miniature to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by reticulate-venulose, long-lanceolate, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the late summer on an erect, 4.8 to 8" [12 to 20 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence
