Found in Espirito Santo state of Brazil in patches of humid Atlantic coastal forests at elevations around 990 meters as a very mini-miniature sized, warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with subcylindrical ramicauls without sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, obovate, apically rounded and tridenticulate, fleshy, light green, with a marked midrib, attenuate below into the pseudopetiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, arising from near the apex of the ramicaul through a very short, amplexical spathe, peduncle filiform, rigid, .96" [2.4 cm] long, provided with 2 sterile bract, rachis fractiflex, elongating, filirom, 2.4 to 2.8" [6 to 7 cm] long, successively single, several flowered inflorescence with tubular, acute, much shorter than the pedicel floral bracts and carrying a nodding flower.
