Common Name The Knotted Bulbophyllum
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in southern India at elevations around 1300 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte that blooms in the spring on an erect, 4" [10 cm] long, 6 to 7 flowered inflorescence holding the few flowers in an umbel over the leaf.
Similar to B helenae but this one differ in having nodular swellings on the thick rhizome and has somewhat larger sepals.
