Common Name Boulbet's Bulbophyllum [French planter and ethnologist 1900's]

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Vietnam at elevations around 600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm] between each, leaning, oblong, tapering towards the apex pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong, round apically, tapering towards the base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, peduncle to 1" [2.5 cm] long, few bracted, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence holding the flowers in an apical loose whorl.

The species is close to B evrardii, B pinicolum, B stenobulbon, B angustifolium and B obtusum
