Common Name The Long-Pedicelled Pleurothallis
Flower Size .6" [1.5 cm]
Found in Cartago province of Costa Rica and Chiriqui province of Panama and Ecuador? at elevations of 600 to 2400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cold growing, caespitose epiphyte with slender, suberect to erect ramicauls enveloped by a tubular sheath below the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, ovate, acute, slightly acuminate, cordate and sessile at the base leaf that blooms in the spring on a suberect to arching, arising through a reclining spathe, lax, disitchous, simultaneously several flowered, [7 to 11 cm] long, racemose inflorescence with a shorter than the pedicel floral bract.

"The lax, long-pedicellate raceme is about as long as the leaf, the dorsal sepal and synsepal are obtuse, the petals are subfalcate and minutely denticulate and the lip is thickly ovate with a large glenion. " Luer 1998
